Abstract

Lansia tinggal di Panti Wreda rentan mengalami kesepian yang dapat menimbulkan perasaan cemas hingga depresi. Salah satu terapi untuk mengatasi kesepian lansia adalah art therapy kelompok merupakan kegiatan berbasis seni sebagai media mengungkapkan perasaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh art therapy kelompok terhadap kesepian lansia. Menggunakan desain penelitian pre-eksperimental One Group Pre Post Test Design. Populasi sejumlah 160 lansia di Griya Usia Lanjut Santo Yosef dan menggunakan teknik sampling purposive sampling dengan jumlah 31 responden. Variabel independen adalah art therapy kelompok sedangkan variabel dependen adalah kesepian. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa SOP art therapy kelompok dan kuesioner UCLA Loneliness Scale Version 3 untuk mengukur kesepian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai mean pre-test adalah 44,58 ± 7,882 dan nilai mean post-test adalah 35,26 ± 7,430. Uji hipotesis menggunakan Paired Samples T-Test didapati p value = 0,000 (α < 0,05) dengan mean penurunan pre-test ke post-test sebesar 9,129 ± 3,542. Hal ini berarti art therapy kelompok efektif untuk mengatasi kesepian lansia, art therapy dapat menimbulkan kebahagiaan dan mengurangi stres sehingga interaksi meningkat dan dapat menurunkan kesepian.
