Abstract

Seiring berkembangnya teknologi akun social media seolah telah menjadi hal yang wajib dimiliki, baik oleh perorangan maupun sebuah perusahaan atau organisasi sekalipun. Social media sendiri merupakan salah satu bentuk dari new media yang secara perlahan menggeser media-media konvensional seperti televisi, radio, koran, dan majalah sebagai sumber informasi utama masyarakat melalui konten yang secara aktif menjangkau audience, peran graphic designer dalam hal ini adalah membuat desain yang dapat menarik perhatian audience dalam segi visual. Hal ini telah dimanfaatkan dengan baik oleh Brightsoul yang secara aktif membagikan konten-konten yang edukatif dan menarik secara bersamaan. Tujuan dari kegiatan kerja praktik ini adalah untuk mengetahui peran seorang graphic designer pada akun Instagram yang dimiliki oleh Brightsoul, yaitu @brightsoul.co.
