Abstract

The aim of this research is to know the effect of job satisfactions on employee performance of PT “X” and to know the dominant factor, by using regression analysis and correlation analysis. This research uses performance appraisal data of employee and questionnaire of job satisfactions factors for production staff, R&D, QC, technicians, and administration staff on PT “X”. The result of regression analysis shows that simultaneous effects of job satisfaction is 72.70% (R square) influencing employee performance, 27.30% the remaining influences by another factor that is not included on this research. And the correlation of all factors on job satisfaction and employee performance is 85.30%. The result of correlation analysis shows that correlation between challenging job factor and employee performance is 0.4466 and gives 37.20% effects on performance. The correlation between fair salary factor and employee performance is -0.2292%, and gives 9.80% effects on performance. The correlation between supporting work conditions and employee performance is 0.5176, and gives 49.97% effect on performance and shows dominant subvariable of job satisfaction. The correlation of support partnership is 0.1274% and gives 3.03% effect on performance. With statistical calculation by using t test shows that challenging job factor and supporting work conditions factor has significant effect on employee performance of PT''X''. And the fair salary does not give significant effect on employee performance. But supporting partnership factor influences but not significantly on employee performance.
