Abstract

Based on the findings presented by Christensen, currently, society is in an era of disruption. All fields have begun to be disrupted, including education. History education is one of the fields that is vulnerable to being disrupted if it is not packaged innovatively. One of the innovations that can be done to attract public interest in learning history is through a three-paragraph short story (pentigraph). This study aims to determine the historical pentigraph learning strategies applied in society and find out the historical pentigraph collection books that have been successfully published by the Roode Burg Soerabaia Community. This research method is participatory observation research. The data used in this study were historical pentigraphs published by the Roode Burg Soerabaia Community. Data collection techniques in this study consisted of three, namely (1) observation, (2) interviews, and (3) literature study. The data analysis technique in this research is descriptive analysis. The results of the research were (1) historical pentigraph learning strategies that could be applied in society; (2) a book that has been published by the Roode Burg Soerabaia Community and disseminated to the public. The conclusion of this research is a form of strategy and sample books to teach the pentigraph to society.
