Abstract
The research is aimed at identifying the influence of teachers' perception about the principals' leadership and motivation on the teachers' performance at Yayasan Yohanes Gabriel, Surabaya . It is quantitative in nature, using a Regression Analysis. Sixty eight teachers from three Senior High Schools (SMA) were examined and taken as respondents. Data were collected using questionnaires. The result of the data analysis showed that the perception about leadership was positive. Most of the teachers (67.65%) expressed their positive perception. The teachers had high motivation and this affected their performance significantly. This is clear from the statistical correlation that both independent variables affected the dependent variable, teachers' performance with R = 0,750 and F = 41,827 with the level of significance p= 0,000.
