Abstract

PT. Sari Guna Garam merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang pengolahan garam yang menghasilkan produk berupa garam kemasan beryodium dan garam industri. Perusahaan ini berdiri pada tahun 1979. PT. Sari Guna Garam terletak di Jalan Kalianak Barat no. 65A Surabaya dengan luas kurang lebih sebesar 5900 m2. PT. Sari Guna Garam telah bersertifikat halal dan ISO 9001:2015, serta produknya telah memenuhi SNI 3556:2016. Perusahaan ini menggunakan bahan baku berupa garam kasar yang berasal dari Pamekasan, Madura karena memiliki kualitas yang terbaik bila dibandingkan dengan daerah lainnya. Proses pengolahan garam meliputi penerimaan bahan baku berupa garam kasar yang telah melewati pencucian, pengeringan, penggilingan, pengayakan, iodosasi, dan pengemasan. PT. Sari Guna Garam menerapkan pedoman GHMP (Good and Halal Manufacturing Practices) dan pengawasan mutu dari penanganan bahan baku hingga produk jadi untuk menjamin kualitas garam yang dihasilkan. Pengendalian mutu proses produksi dilakukan dengan mematuhi semua SOP yang berlaku agar didapatkan produk akhir sesuai dengan standar yang telah ditetapkan. Limbah yang dihasilkan oleh PT. Sari Guna Garam selama proses produksi adalah limbah cair yang selanjutnya akan dimanfaatkan sebagai bahan pembantu dalam pengolahan pakan ternak
