Abstract

PT. ISM Tbk. Bogasari Flour Mills adalah perusahaan yang bergerak pada bidang pertepungan. Biji gandum yang diimpor dari luar negeri diolah hingga menghasilkan tepung terigu. Perusahaan ini merupakan perusahaan pertepungan terbesar di dunia. Perusahaan ini dibangun pada tahun 1972 dan memiliki kapasitas penggilingan biji gandum sebesar 5.900 ton/hari. Biji gandum harus melalui beberapa tahapan proses produksi hingga akhirnya dihasilkan tepung terigu. Biji gandum dibersihkan dari semua kontaminan, kemudian biji gandum digiling dan diayak hingga mencapai ukuran partikel kurang dari 200 μm, dikemas, dan akhirnya didistribusikan ke pasar. PT. ISM Tbk. Bogasari Flour Mills Surabaya menghasilkan berbagai macam merek tepung terigu, seperti Cakra Kembar, Cakra Kembar Emas, Segitiga Biru, Segitiga Hijau, Kunci Biru dan Lencana Merah. PT. ISM Tbk. Bogasari Flour Mills Surabaya juga menghasilkan tepung terigu yang dibuat khusus sesuai dengan pesanan konsumen. Produk lain yang dihasilkan oleh PT. ISM Tbk. Bogasari Flour Mills Surabaya selain tepung terigu adalah by product, seperti bran, pollard, industrial flour dan pellet.
