Abstract

PT. XYZ adalah perusahaan manufaktur yang memproduksi sepatu. Masalah yang dihadapi perusahaan adalah pengolahan data dan analisa data kemampuan proses belum berjalan dengan baik. Data diambil dari pengujian yang dilakukan oleh departemen Lab. QC yaitu FRD, AB Ratio, Hydrolysis, dan Sole Density. Penelitian ini menganalisa kapabilitas proses dan korelasi pada periode Januari-Juni 2015. Dari hasil pengolahan dan analisa data, ternyata kapabilitas proses FRD, AB Ratio, Hydrolysis, dan Sole Density kurang baik. Sedangkan korelasi antara FRD dengan Sole Density tidak signifikan atau lemah. Manfaat analisis kapabilitas proses adalah membantu perusahaan untuk melihat kestabilan proses pada tiap mesin dan material. Sehingga perusahaan dapat mengambil suatu kebijakan untuk melakukan Continuous Improvement.
