Abstract

Acetaminophen dosis toksik dapat menyebabkan kerusakan sel hepar. Ekstrak buah Jujube merah kering memiliki kandungan phenolic dan flavonoid sebagai antioksidan yang dapat menghambat terbentuknya radikal bebas sebagai hepatoprotektor. Tujuan: Mengetahui efek dari pemberian ekstrak buah jujube merah kering terhadap gambaran histopatologi hepar tikus putih wistar jantan yang diinduksi acetaminophen dosis tinggi. Metode: Tikus putih wistar jantan diinduksi acetaminophen dosis tinggi dan ekstrak buah jujube merah kering. Kelompok kontrol positif akan diberikan acetaminophen 3g/KgBB pada hari ke-9 dan Kelompok perlakuan 1, 2, dan 3 mendapat ekstrak buah jujube merah kering sebanyak 70mg/KgBB, 140mg/KgBB, 280mg/KgBB selama 10 Hari. Tikus dikorbankan pada Hari ke-11 dan dibuat sediaan histopatologis hepar. Preparat diamati dengan mikroskop cahaya pada pembesaran 400x. Hasil: Penelitian ini didapatkan hasil rerata sel nekrosis dengan nilai K (-) : 12% , K (+) : 62%, Kp 1 : 46%, Kp 2 : 40%, Kp 3 : 35%. Hasil uji hipotesis menggunakan One Way Anova menunjukkan hasil data signifikan (p < 0.05) pada semua kelompok. Uji post hoc pada perbandingan rerata sel nekrosis tiap kelompok didapatkan hasil yang signifikan dengan nilai (p < 0.05). Simpulan : Terdapat pengaruh pemberian ekstrak buah jujube merah kering sebagai hepatoprotektor terhadap gambaran histopatologi hepar tikus yang diinduksi acetaminophen dosis toksik.
