Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh corporate governance dan karakteristik perusahaan terhadap luas pengungkapan sukarela. Variabel corporate governance meliputi kepemilikan manajerial dan kepemilikan institusional, sedangkan variabel karakteristik perusahaan meliputi rasio profitabilitas, leverage, likuiditas, dan ukuran perusahaan. Populasi penelitian ini adalah perusahaan LQ 45 yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia selama tahun 2013-2015 dengan total sampel sebanyak 124 perusahaan yang dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan kepemilikan manajerial, profitabilitas, dan ukuran perusahaan tidak berpengaruh terhadap luas pengungkapan sukarela. Sedangkan kepemilikan institusional, leverage, dan likuiditas berpengaruh negatif terhadap luas pengungkapan sukarela.
